Your bathroom needs a plastic bin!
Not only do plastic bins make great toys, they are also excellent for storage and organization in the bathroom. There isn’t anything in a bathroom that you can’t put in a plastic bin, therefore making the bathroom the best place for them.
When it comes to space, most bathrooms are lacking. If you are lucky you’ll have cabinets underneath your sink and maybe a closet with shelving for towels, etc.
I often shudder when I think back to my college apartment with a bathroom the size of a pantry. The pedestal sink was used obviously because nothing else would fit – leaving me with NO counter space! I purchased a stacking plastic bin set like this and it was my lifesaver. I filled each bin with all my bathroom goodies, including a drawer for makeup. I put my curling iron and blow dryer on top of the stack and it was a perfect fit for the circumstances.
A plastic bin with a lid can be a lifesaver. Whether the bin is full of medications you don’t want your wandering 2-year-old to get into or keeping all your travel-sized goodies together for your next trip – anything can be protected in a plastic bin with a lid.
Think about what a pain it would be if you had a shampoo leak in the cabinet and had to take everything out to clean it up. If you had it in a plastic bin, clean up would be a cinch.
Another great use for plastic bins is to store cotton balls and Q-tips. A box of Q-tips lasts a long time, and we only have a small amount at a time out. Storing them in a plastic bin keeps them safe from getting wet and keeps them clean from dust and whatever else.
The bathroom is one of the best places to use plastic bins. Easy to keep clutter-free, you will not only be keeping everything organized but protecting your stuff as well!
