Plastic Bins for the Crafty Soul

When it comes to crafting you’ve got to have a good storage system going. With tools and accessories that come in all shapes and sizes, it’s likely you’ll easily lose track of some of them.
Overtime, I have found that different forms of plastic bins offer the most affordable and practical storage for my large collection of crafting stuff.
There are several reasons why I choose plastic bins of other forms of storage like baskets. I have craft accessories in every size, so it is important that I store them in something that will preserve them in order not to waste my money.
Beads are one of those accessories that are very delicate and need a home where they won’t fall through the cracks. When I was younger, I just purchased a plastic fishing lure box. This idea became so popular with beaders and crafters that they now make the same boxes sold especially for beads. You can find these at really affordable prices in a variety of sizes.

Another of my favorite storage options is for my paper. I have TONS of paper, so I need a way where I can store it and it won’t get bent or crumpled and where I can look through it easily. My easy fix for this was a simple 12×12 Sterilite stackable drawer system. Very affordable, I can keep my paper clean and wrinkle free and I can always add another unit because they are stackable.

There are so many different options for storage with plastic bins. You can even use a plastic bin to create the best storage option for you. For instance, a great way to store ribbon is on a dowel so you can easily pull of the section of ribbon you want without having to worry about it unraveling everywhere and taping the loose end back. By poking a hole through each end of a plastic bin and inserting the dowel you have just created the best ribbon storage.
Chances are, if you need storage for some of your accessories, checking out plastic bins is going to give you great storage options at an affordable price!
